Patsy is our new practice owner. She has been in the optical industry for over 20 years and has been in practice manager and senior dispenser roles for many of those years. She has a special interest in the fashion aspect of optics and is thrilled when her clients step outside their comfort zone and put their trust in her fashion knowledge. Being an eyewear stylist means she can consult with all of our clients one-on-one and discuss the latest lens designs and the best optical solutions for all. She is often seen frequenting optical fairs & conferences looking out for the upcoming fashion trends and optical advances. Outside of work she loves travelling, reading and keeping fit.
Drew is a general optometrist with over 10 years’ experience. He’s worked in a variety of practices across South East Queensland and previously owned a practice on the Gold Coast. Drew is well-known in the industry, having been the Director of Optometry Queensland for the last five years. Away from his busy career, Drew enjoys spending time with his baby daughter.
Andrea has spent the last five years applying her customer service skills, refined over a 20 year banking career across four states in many diverse roles, to the wonderful world of optics. Andrea’s customer focus and “can do” attitude paves the way to her passion for helping people. She is naturally inquisitive and genuinely interested in each customer’s story and finds great joy when she can satisfy their optical needs and make it a great experience to boot. Andrea loves cooking and travelling and has lived in this local vicinity, having grown up in Salisbury and Moorooka and more recently in Ekibin.
Oscar is in his final year of his Bachelor of Vision Science degree and is about to commence his Masters of Optometry course at QUT. He is passionate to learn more about his future career path and what happens beyond the optometrist room. In his free time, Oscar has a wide variety of hobbies including photography, music composition and computers.
Thien is in his first year of a Masters of Optometry degree at QUT and set to graduate in 2022. He has recently begun to see his first patients at the QUT health clinic and is eager to use his knowledge from clinic in conjunction with his 2 years of optical dispensing experience for the Yeronga community. Thien enjoys cooking in his spare time and when he’s not in the kitchen enjoys trying out the latest restaurants Brisbane has to offer.
